The Korean Skincare Routine for Beginners
You don't need 10 steps. A great Korean routine is really about a few good products used in the right order — cleanse, treat, hydrate, protect. Here's the beginner version that works for most skin types in Egypt's climate.
1. Cleanse gently
Start with a gentle cleanser that removes dirt and oil without stripping your skin. If it feels tight after washing, it's too harsh.
2. Treat with a serum
Pick one serum for your main concern — soothing for redness, niacinamide for oil and pores, or hydrating for dryness. One is enough to start.
3. Lock in moisture
A lightweight moisturiser or ampoule seals everything in. Sheet masks are a nice 2–3× a week boost for glow and hydration.
4. Never skip sunscreen
This is the single most important step — every morning, rain or shine. It prevents dark spots and early ageing, and makes every other product worth it.
